Uh… Tattooed on, perma brow, often done in some unnatural shade of purple/brown. 4 people I know have done this and it’s just… Off putting! Your opinion? Also, would love a tutorial on your wedding day/daytime smokey eye. What color did you use? I’m dying!

great post, I love the different Megans :), gives a much better perspective on how effective brows can be.

I’m in the process of growing out and re-shaping my brows, as over the years “somehow” one decided to look more arched and the other more round. I also wanted to narrow the distance between the two. Let me tell you…it’s been a very very long process; almost a year now and I’m only about 70% there but I’m determined. So if anyone else is re-shaping or growing out their brows, be patient and persistent. Brow pencils and powders help in the interim, as well as applying almond oil, vaseline or castor oil to the brows at nights 😉

this post was awsome! an eyebrow can change everything about your face! i’m plucking my eyebrows myself for 2 years and now i’m a bit mastered about this. anti-unibrow is perfect for megan fox i think. in that look her eyebrows start where her nose sides end(sorry for bad english hope you understand!). in the first pic she looks more masculine.

I’ve stopped by your blog several times now and just added it to my google reader subscriptions! Love the brow post! I have naturally thick brows, so I can totally relate to “unkept” Megan. My stylist keeps me in check, however, and rarely do I let it get that out of control 🙂

Yep, I’m a daily plucker. It is my “me” time. If I don’t pluck daily they grow out straight forward and itch! They are black as night and I can see and feel them under the skin. If I let them grow in one would grow in towards my nose, one would grow straight out at you, one would grow in curly. I think looking at my grandmother’s eyebrows pretty much sealed the deal for me. I could tell what I was genetically headed for…sparse, bushy, “manly” wild brows. I’ve found a powder I like and I’ve resigned myself to accepting that the time and effort of trying to grow in three little eye brows is not worth the torture. As long as I do the best I can with the other make-up tips (which have been a ton of fabulous stuff!!) then I’ll just put on my best smile and enjoy it all~! THANKS Cara!

Ok cara, I have a brow problem that hasn’t yet been addressed so I’m hoping you can help! I have brows with a really great natural shape, but the hairs actually grow to be very long, causing them to like “hang” or “fall” outside of where they should, but not to a degree that they should be plucked because I don’t want to mess up their shape. What is the best way to trim them without messing them up?

Brows, Brows, Brows, they’re my #1 insecurity about my looks, I soooo envy the girls who can go without makeup and still have their brows be seen. I on the other hand am not so lucky 🙁 They’ve never been very prominent, but as i’ve gotten older, it’s so much worse and i’ve had to pencil them in for about 12 years now, and i’m only 30! The ones i do have are blonde, and cant be seen, especially in light. I literally have to make a shadow over my eyebrow just to see the natural arch and try to piece it all together… I’ll be trying the mary kay serum for growth, thanks for the tip, but where can i find a brow person to help? (in Atlanta) Cara, I just stumbled upon your blog last week via pinterest and i must say, i’m TOTALLY ADDICTED! i first watched the HAC video and immediately went to amazon.com to buy everything. i know i’m not the only one, because it practically had the identical shopping list as the “suggested from other purchasers” down below.
