Tan Hands

Nothing says,
“My Tan is as fake as Madonna’s British accent.”
Like tanner stained hands.

So the logical thing, I suppose, would be to wear gloves… but what if I don’t have gloves? What if I just want to put some tanner on my face and I don’t want to go to the trouble of gloving up? What if I prefer rubbing it in with my hands ungloved?

These questions have haunted me for a long time now.
I tried a bunch of different solutions, including rubbing bleach on my hands…which worked but would probably poison me and give me all kinds of diseases.  Rachel (my sis) and I decided to just try everything in her pantry that sounded like a possibilty. Vinegar- nothin’ Lemon Juice-fresh smelling nothin’ and so on.

When we finally tried Baking soda we were amazed!

We mixed it with water and it made a nice (subtly gritty) paste. When we rubbed it on our palms the tanner washed off completely. It doesn’t leave a trace! We also tried it on our elbows and knees (or anywhere your tanner could streak) and it worked like a charm there too.

I am starting to think if it can’t be fixed with baking soda or corn starch…it can’t be fixed period.
