Midi Lip

I have 5 older sibling and 3 younger.

I wasn’t even given the dignity of the title “Middle Child” more like “Somewhere-to-the-side-of-the-middle child.”
There’s no glory in that. You’re neither big nor little. You’re not afforded the perks of being first or those of being last.
Your mom calls you Heid-Rache-Cara. You babysit, wear hand-me-downs and share a room.

In-between-ers get the shaft.

Which is why I bring this up.

Everyone is always talking about bold lips and nude lips but what about midi lips?
It’s the most underrated lip of all.
It’s not quite as loud as your typical bold and not quite as bare as your nudies. Chocolate vanilla swirl, if you will.

In a world that is split between bold lip lovers and nude lip devotees. I say we all just agree on something.
Let’s heal the our differences and meet in the middle, who knows, it just might be your gateway into a whole new way of lipsticking.

Makeover Monday

Have you ever seen eyes this color?
St-u-u-u-ning I tell ya.
This is Lucy, she’s as sweet as she is beautiful.

I used a copper shadow around her peepers and a heavy coat of mascara, cause we all know that I’d be crazy not to capitalize on those babies.
I filled in her brows a little bit closer together which I think really softened her expression and framed her face beautifully.
Buffed in some gorgeous foundation using my favorite brush.
I dabbed some pink blush into the apples of her cheeks.
Next I contoured her cheekbones, sides of her nose, chin and forehead.
Highlighted the bridge of her nose, under her eyes (in the pie piece) between her brows and on her chin and set it with a illuminating powder. ( I used the hard candy version but I can’t seem to find a link for it, got it at Walmart)
Lined her lips (blending well) and finished with some sexy pink gloss.
I hope you guys love it as much as I do.
