My name is Davi Livingston and I am nominating my mother Delna Gates! She is truly Amazing!
My mother is one of a kind, she is a mother, a teacher of special needs children ( one of whom she adopted) and my very best friend. My mother is very selfless in all that she does. She is a teacher at Beaver Dam Elementary and LOVES every child that she teaches. She goes the extra mile for those kids she is putting together a soccer leauge for them she taught them the “THRILLER” dance at Halloween and has helped them out in so many ways.
My mother is now single mom who is raising a special needs boy whom she adopted when he was 12 years old. She is doing an amazing job helping him learn and grow.
My Mother has 8 children and 23 grand children and LOVES them all very much. She really needs something for herself and needs a day to feel special because she gives soooo much to others.

Delna was my friend and next door neighbor. She was always there when I needed to talk or had questions about something, sewing, cooking, church, or just practical advice and a great friend to go “junking” with….. Dalna, is one talented women. I can’t say i know her personally but I have had the opportunity to chat with her from time to time. She has raised some beautiful and talented children. She always there to support them as well. I would love to be just half of the mom she was to her own children.
