FRIDAY FAVORITES – Living Proof Dry Volume Blast & more

I’m seriously shocked today is friday, Christian has been out of school since Wednesday so I have been feeling like it’s been Saturday for days now:) It’s like the best feeling knowing I haven’t even had a Saturday this week yet!

This round up of favorites is a good one. If you have been following along for a while now you know I am not a hoarder of things. When I find a favorite I use it ALL THE TIME. SO you can count on me re-using the things I recommend in my tutorials and wherever I an fit them in.

1. Living Proof Dry Volume Blast

Living Proof just recently launched their latest amazing product, Full Dry Volume Blast, and OK this stuff is seriously what dreams are made of! It smells wonderful, adds crazy good volume and gives the PERFECT amount of texture for messy sexy hair.
It has replaced every other texturizing and volumizing product I own, which I love because it frees up so much space in my bathroom and in my brain (especially when I’m trying to pack!).

Here’s how I like to use it: I part my hair around my crown and spray it into the roots (holding it about 10” away). Then for extra volume and texture, I’ll spray it all over and tousle and scrunch it with my hands. Be sure to shake the can before you start to use it, and before each spray, as this helps activate the magical light-as-air science behind this product.
Dry Volume Blast is ESPECIALLY key for ladies like me with super fine or silky hair, which is great when sleek is the goal but not so great when you want your hair to get a little more lively. It’s available at Sephora so definitely grab some and try it for yourself the next time you need a little volume in your life!.

2. Lipsense

I was POSITIVE I wouldn’t like this stuff. I assumed it would dry my lips out and that is the LAST thing I need in my life. I mean who cares if you have pretty colored lips if they look like dried up raisins? I finally had enough people tell me to try it who I trust that I decided to give it a try. It’s true that it is a bit drying but the gloss is SUPER moisturizing and after a few days I really felt like I didn’t even need much of the gloss to get by without drying out. Plus the colors are gorgeous, it stays on FOREVER and it doesn’t transfer to ANYTHING (inculding teeth, baby cheeks and clothes) I’m seriously wanting to overhaul my lipstick collection with just lipsense.

3. Burt’s Bees Jammies

These are my FAVORITE for my kidlets because they are insanely soft and look adorable on.

4. Lulu Love Tee

The older I get the more I would rather buy one classic thing I’m going to use the heck out of than 5 things I’ll wear a handful of times. I’ve worn more this top more in the last few months since I bought it than anything thing else in my closet. It’s super flattering, stays super black and holds it’s shape like a queen. I also have it in white and love it just as much. You will not regret this purchase!
