Makeup Capsule Look

OK So I’ve been working on updating the makeup Capsule for winter and getting a whole new set of looks for you guys to get some inspiration from.
This is the first look I chose it is a serious favorite of mine!
The no liner under the eye for this. It has a sweetness about it that I love. Plus it opens up the eyes.

SO here’s the 411.

I started with IIID foundation in sunlit + stone. filled in my brows and I already have my lash extensions so lashes are covered.

Next I layered on some Sunset shadow (from the Naturally Pretty Palette) on my lids (using the one color wash technique)

Then I followed up with Kat Von D liquid liner right at the lashes (only on the top)

I used a new blush that hasn’t hit the stores yet called Desert Sunset (it is a peachy tone with a little it of shimmer!) in the apples of my cheeks.

Then Lined my lips with Sebastian & filled them with another touch of the Desert Sunset. (I’ll let you know as soon as it’s available!)

Such a simplistic fresh look.

What false lashes are you wearing? They look so natural–I’d love to buy the same kind!

I think she said they’re professionally-done lash extensions. They look awesome, don’t they?

You’re such a natural beauty! I’ve been wanting to try liquid eyeliner for awhile but not sure which one to get for a first timer and easy to apply.
Do you have a recommendation for a “cheaper” brand of liquid eyeliner??

Wow this is stunning, Cara! Unsurprisingly so, though, because you always are! But it looks like you have a little something going on the lower tear line. Did you use makeup there or is it some kind of ‘transfer’ from the top lashline liquid liner? It actually looks good! Xo

So so pretty. You always inspire me to take time with my makeup and put my best self forward. Wondering, in the end did you use lower eye liner? Love it, just want to know if it’s part of the whole look.

Sooo, blush on your lips? Desert Sunset….is that not drying? Also, I have found it hard to remove/wash my eye make up off with eyelash extensions….how do you do it?

Cindy! Hi! In case you haven’t found an answer yet about about removing eye makeup with extensions…

I use the neutrogena oil free eye make remover (the cvs knockoff myself) with one of those white triangular makeup sponges. It won’t snag your lashes. I wash it out every time with hand soap for the next day. I switch it outo for a new one every fill.

And of course wash your lashes! 1 part baby shampoo to 2 parts water. I use a otherwise useless too fluffy shadow brush to gently scrub the roots and brush down the tips. Rinse gently with like warm water and air dry before brushing out with a clean spoolie. #lashiegirls!

Love the look, absolutely stunning! I have been taking your advice and bought myself a can of the tomas and what a difference it makes in my makeup routine. Even a tad better than my previous routine which was to apply tanwise lotion to my face, wait half hour and then apply moisturizer and makeup.

I love the sweater. It also reminds me of a great black friday deal I got on an American Eagle sweater at less than $30. It is also very warm and cozy but doesn’t quite achieve the look you have here with the Nordstrom sweater.
