I just barely got home from a visit to Waffle Love. Which is a waffle truck. And…I loved that cookie butter & strawberry covered morsel of heaven so much that I don’t even think I regret licking the plate. It makes me really sad for those of you who don’t live in Utah but with waffles that amazing…I’m sure they’ll be spreading there soon (wherever there is:). For my St. George ladies, good news they live here now! (Follow them on instagram to find out where they’ll be parking next! @waffluvstg)

We MOVED IN TO OUR NEW HOUSE LAST NIGHT! I’m so so so excited. Now I can’t stop looking at furniture. Nesting perhaps? Welp, at any rate…I’m in LOVE with this bed.

An amazing makeup artist named Vivian (proof of her incredible talent) introduced me to a ground breaking lip mask that works on even the most chapped lips. You must try it. HERE (Bite Agava Lip Mask)

I’ll do it, really, it’s my speciality:)

I know these lashes (Miss Dolly) are expensive but they last forever and they are the perfect balance for days when you want just a “girl next door” amount of lash.

Have you ever done “The Cube” Game? It’s really fun and it’s a great icebreaker with people you want to get to know better. (if you do it, I’d love to hear your results!)

How beautiful is this headband??

The world’s most amazing photographer Jessica Janae is having a seminar on the business of photography that I think is going to be fantastic for any photographers who are wanting to grow. Here are the details.

Also Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Starts today!!! YAY! One of the best sales of the year! Be sure to check it out, let me know if you find anything amazing, I’ll do the same! Here’s what I found:)

Have a great weekend!!!!

PS I was featured on The Small Things Blog today! She is doing a REALLY fun series where she chats with other beauty bloggers to find out their favorite tricks and products. Plus she always has great advice of her own!

Good Morning! I have the bed in the first link, and I love it! I got the grey color, and even my husband likes 🙂

Really? O good! I’m dying to get it! The gray is SO beautiful!

The link to the lip mask only shows a message that a product is out of stock. It give no details or even the name of the product. Can you tell me the name of the product so I can look for it elsewhere? My lips have been super chapped lately and they are driving me crazy! I want my smooth lips back and hoping this product will do the trick. Thank you Cara.

Yes! So sorry I fixed the link but the product is called Agava Lip Mask

Nope, it still just takes you to a Sephora message that “this item is out of stock.” No way even to know what the item is. Come on, Sephora, that’s bad for business!

I don’t see how the eyelashes recommended are for the “girl next door” when they look very fake and exceedingly bushy. Also, when recommending a product, would you please state what it is, as opposed to just providing a link? I understand that you get kick backs from the company you link to if people click on the link from your page/website and make a purchase, and I do not fault you the revenue stream; however, the lip product was sold out at Sephora and it did not list the name of the product, just it’s status. That being the case, I was unable to look it up elsewhere.

    Thank you

They look a lot bigger in the photo, they really are quite subtle, definitely not bushy:) The product is Agave Lip Mask by Bite.

My husband and I just built a headboard pretty similar to that one! It was fairly easy and we love it!
I just released a new post this morning, I would be so honored if you would let me know what you think 🙂

Love the Agave lip mask by BITE!! Only think is the metal tubing it comes in. as you use it. It cracks and product will come out of the cracks. Sephora said they would replace it if I brought it in. Being disabled with CRPS/RSD and have agoraphobia. So getting out is a HUGE problem for me. Only go out to drs appts and only if I HAVE TO. But its a great product I LOVE IT!!

Just ordered the Miss Dolly lashes. HUGE step for me. I’ve worn fake lashes maybe 3-4 times. Once was for a photo session and my husband loooooved it. So technically they’re for him. That’s how I justified the price 🙂

Keep being adorable Cara. Love checking in on your blog a few times a week.

Totally just did the cube game. I had never heard of it before. VERY cool! My cube was clear, kinda like a force field, sitting on the sand.. The steel metal ladder was leaning on the cube up to the top. My horse was a beautiful strong, brown horse with shiny long hair. ALL brown but a large white speckled unique patch on his chest.. and he was standing right beside my cube just waiting there. Flowers were bright yellow daffodils… Those aren’t even my favorite flower so I have no idea why they popped in my head.. just very vibrant.. There was probably 3-5 of them.. and they were sitting in a green vase inside the middle of my cube. The storm was a sand storm that was actually swarming all around my cube. No where else.. Made things kind of hazy it wasn’t incredibly rough but a storm none the less..

All of that kinda made me laugh thinking about it.. I think its all very true. The horse kinda makes me sappy.. My fiance and I are getting married in a few weeks and he is truly that gorgeous horse. The flowers are something that’s been on my mind for a bit now. We talk about kids and I’ve started a baby box. In the next year or so for sure.. Which is probably why the flowers were so vibrant.. Kinda love that I had them in my box being protected. And the storm is something going on for sure.. Mostly around my work life.. recently started thinking about transferring out of my current job to one that will be more “mommy” friendly and allow me a healthier balance once kiddos do come.

    VERY COOL!! Thanks for sharing!!

Cara I have the same bed in a champagne/sand color. I absolutely love it and haven’t regretted purchasing one bit! I’ve never heard of the cube game but I did it and apparently my head is in the clouds and I want a field of children lol!

You live in St George?! I was just out there at Red Mtn Resort and it was incredible. What a gorgeous area and there is something magical about S. Utah that just relaxes and melts your stress (and yes, it may have literally melted when I was there is June! ha-ha) Love your blog!

The Bite Beauty agave lip mask is really nice, but I actually ended up returning mine. The main ingredient is lanolin and if anyone is looking for a less pricey option, I think Lansinoh 100% HPA lanolin works just as well and is far cheaper. I buy a 1.4 oz tube at Target in the breastfeeding aisle for $10. The agave lip mask is $26, making it $50/oz, compared to $7/oz for the Lansinoh. The Lansinoh doesn’t have the sweet taste from the agave or the extra ingredients, but for me it’s way better bang for the buck.

Cara, I have a question! I just got my first pair of mink lashes from another brand. Gently trying to peel off the glue, clumps of lashes came off 🙁 It’s so upsetting because they’re expensive! Is this normal for mink? Am I just too rough?

I did the cube game too. My cube was about my height and totally glittering with diamonds. The ladder was very basic and leaning up against the cube. The horse was white with a long flowing mane and it was galloping around the area where the cube sat. The flowers were all different colors and types growing everywhere and my storm was a shower with lots of sunshine. Nothing dark and gloomy. Fun game.
