So here’s my thing.
I totally love shopping on Esty. I’m a total sucker for the whole vintage/handmade thing.
The only problem is, when I get on that blessed site I fall into a rabbit hole for like 3 hours and by the time I’m done I don’t even know what to order anymore!?
I don’t even remember what I came for in the first place!
Like tonight when I getting a new handbag started my search and I ended up finding so many fantastic things I figured I had better share…so I could say all that time on Esty I was actually just hard at work. Doing R&D for the blog…it’s a slippery slope…

I wish I was size 6 in shoes sometimes (even though I’d probably lose balance in the wind if I was…) like when I see boots like this , or when I want to try on the sample shoes without asking for help…makes me a teensy bit jealous of you tiny footed ladies

This bag makes me think it might even renew my faith in shoulder straps. And it’s gorgeous.

I haven’t been a huge wearer of blazers in the past.  For reasons unknown to me I just felt frumpy in them, but I’ve been seeing some pregnant gals in them lately that are making me want to revisit that whole thing. This one for example.

I want this feather ring so bad. With my fingers rapidly growing in size, I’ll admit, it does make me feel a little claustrophobic.

And this fingerprint necklace is beautiful.

Do you guys have any favorite Etsy items or shops you would be kind enough to recommend to me?
I mean, now that the sickness has begun I might as well embrace it, right?

PS this might make your day.

I love etsy, and I find myself on there daily seeing what items are “trending” – I just recently bought a monogrammed ring dish from a shop called Oh My Word Designs. And of course I would be remiss if I didn’t recommend my own shop – Homemade in the Heartland. I do custom portraits and watercolors.

I’ve been an Etsy addict for as long as I can remember. I can get lost on there for hours. I’m super excited to be able to say that I finally opened up my own shop last month. I’d be flattered and stoked if you popped by. I sell downloadable photos of flowers that’s I’ve taken in my yard. I may be a wee bit obsessed with gardening, and have been taking the pictures for years anyway, so I figured, what the hey. Stick ’em in a shop and see how it goes. I have a hallway FULL of framed flower pictures. They make me smile every time I walk by them. Here’s the link:
Now, I must go check out some of the shops mentioned in the comments……
