Superbowl Makeup

I felt after my last makeup video (the vampy look) that basically freaked Nick out, I though I’d better hook him up with a look that’s a bit more boy friendly. This little nugget is a surefire winner with the menfolk. Sometimes to the extent that they cannot stop panning away from the game so all of them can enjoy the hottie in the crowd. This photo was taken during one such closeup of beautiful Katherine Webb.

katherineandme

Which was an exciting moment for me because I don’t expect a smidgen of makeupspiration from sunday night football.
I love it because it capitalizes on your eyes AND lips AND skin all in one – which can sometimes be a little bit much but this walks the line line perfectly!

What I used:
Amrani Luminous Silk Foundation in 6.5
IIID Foundation in Medium
IIID Illuminator
IIID Blush inย Ruby
Lancome Shadow in Impress
Anastasia Dip Brow (this isn’t what I used, this is much better though cause you don’t have to mix it and you get the same result!)
Black Silkissime eye liner
NYX Taupe Liner
MAC Lip Liner in Hip N’ Happy
Soap & Glory Half Naked pluming gloss (it smells like popcorn!)
Wispies Lashesย
Beauty Blender
Elf Contouring Brush
Urban Decay Setting Spray in All Nighter

Have a fun weekend, if you try the look and take a photo I’d LOVE to see it! (tag me or email me or whatever you have time for:)

I was having the same problem with the eyeliner. I tried removing the gold metal junk because I thought that was the problem but I ended up nicking it enough that the sharpener was able to work. I don’t think it should be that difficult. Love the product, very poor design.

Yeah I had that problem too, it’s a struggle getting over the gold part but after that it will sharpen fine. I wouldn’t bother with it except that I’ve never seen a drugstore liner give that much pigment!

Gorgeous! I can never replicate your eye makeup because nothing sticks to my bottom lash line. Even mascara smudges within a few hours. Do I just have weird watery eyes, or is the problem with my application technique? I would love to see a post that’s all about the bottom lash line.

Eyeliner/shadow doesn’t stay at all (it’s gone within minutes!). It seems like my eyes are too wet (esp. if I try the waterline). Mascara lasts a few hours and then smudges. Thanks in advance for any tips!

How do you apply the eyeliner to the outer corner of your eyes? Do you CONNECT the top line and bottom line (that’s on your water line)? Or do you extend both lines out past where your eye really is to connect? Hope that made sense. LOL. Also, how do you keep the eyeliner in the outer corner of your eye from bleeding/smearing throughout the day? I always have problems with it and I bought both of the Loreal eyeliners that you’ve used (silkissime and gel). Thanks!
