Thanks so much for your feedback on the website so far, as you might have noticed I’ve already taken some of your suggestions to heart.
There is still some glitches and some missing photos etc. so don’t worry, we are still working on it!
I do need to take a moment to give a little credit where credit is due!
Hanna from Gadabout Design (and her team) created the website. I told her I liked mine but I wanted it to be cleaner and easier to navigate. I think she nailed it! She also made my logo look a little more grown up and I LOVE IT. Get used to that baby cause you’re gonna see it all over my new line:) Thank you so much Hanna!
Al. I have to tell you, if you are in need of hosting for your website (anything from small to very large traffic) Al is your best friend. I had SO many problems with my hosting (some of you may remember) until he came on the scene. He has helped me work things out that really weren’t even his problem in the middle of the night (he’s on the east coast, I’m on PST) and has never charged me a dime for all of his support time.
When I call my support line I get Al every time. It’s a pure joy after the tell-a-thons I was having with machines before.
And Nick, he was the brilliance behind the beauty index! He’s so supportive and helpful and is always pitching in with ideas and help with anything I need. When I was getting ready to do the redesign his main concern was that people would be able to find ANYTHING they were looking for on the site. He said index, I said brilliant, and Hanna said it could be done. It sounds like you guys dig it, which makes me REALLY happy.
I thought that since my week has kind of been swallowed up with travel and web design and makeup organization (can’t wait to show you the insides of that gorgeous card catalog ) I’d show you some of my favorite things today and whip out my more hearty makeup/hair posts for next week.
I made this chicken for dinner tonight. Not only was it a total breeze but still tasted fantastic.
A few weeks ago after dealing with a broken out chin for a month straight I finally found the culprit! I had made a habit of sleeping with my hand cupping my chin! After just a few night with my hands tucked under the pillow instead my chin cleared up. This is a case of forgetting to take my own advice, found here. And reminds me of this quote:
I’ve been trying to brain storm ideas for Halloween costumes this year. I like to stick with current events and pop culture for mine. In recent years I have been:
Amy Winehouse , Taylor Swift (my date was Kanye . we had a moon man and a mic), and Sarah Palin.
These are some thoughts for this year:
Si from Duck Dynasty? Paula Dean, perhaps? Amanda Bynes?…too soon?
You guys have any good ideas?
I hope you guys have a really great weekend!
Talk to you soon,
