Olive + Oxblood

Ever try to find oxblood eye shadow?
It’s no easy feat.
Everything I found was either too purple or too copper.
I wanted the red cause it does crazy things to make green eyes look BRIGHT, So I improvised.

Instead I ended up using the same thing on my lips as I did my eyes.
Revlon Black Cherry Lipstick {here} and Black eyeliner {here}
Lined my eyes and my lips with the black, smudged it in and topped them with the Black Cherry lipstick.
The shirt I got at Nordstrom Rack but here’s one the same color that I adore {here}

Sorry if I look mad, I was trying to look cool… I always fail when I try to do anything cool.
Cool is a gene. You are either born with it or you are not.
I was not.

    I have to say, I LOVE your blog! Maybe not so good for my makeup addiction, but man, I love it! To top it all off, you seem SO nice and your tutorials are completely dummy proof!

    you said in one of your videos that’s YouTube-r said you were ugly without makeup. First of all, rude, second of all, not true! Actually, I’ve thought a couple times when I watched your videos before you put makeup on that you look SO pretty without makeup and it’s too bad we don’t see the more natural side of you more often 🙂

    Thanks for the great blog.

    I’m a first time visitor to your blog as of yesterday and obsessed. I spent the half the day playing with my face yesterday (mostly HACing) and did this look. I’m blonde and blue eyes although not pale. I thought this look was going to make me look like a hooker, but it was sooo pretty. I felt sexy and is something I would never try as I always go with a nude or coral lip. Thanks for your blog! I’d love to see how you actually do the blending for this look in a video though!

    Too Faced actually makes a really pretty oxblood shadow called Cherry Cola. I just recently got it and I’ve not been brave enough to wear it yet until I saw your post! Looks great on you so I’m going to give it a try.

    Way too cool! I went to 2 different Walmarts to find this Black Cherry lipstick from Revlon, and both stores were sold out of it! I was very very annoyed and bummed by this. I want that lipstick so I can copy your eye makeup look with it! I figured too many people have read about this Black Cherry lipstick look on your blog and that’s why all of the Revlon Black Cherry lipsticks are sold out. Revlon should send you a big check for helping them sell their makeup. I don’t know if they realize that certain products of theirs sell so well because of you and your recommendations showing the looks that can be created. That goes for other cosmetic companies as well! 🙂

    I finally found Revlon’s Black Cherry lipstick! Yay! I found it at HEB. I got it on sale for $2.50, plus at that price I got another lipstick in the color Fuchsia Fusion. I got the Maybelline Dream Lumi highlighting concealer that u recommend too. It’s amazing how much more Walgreens sells their products for compared to other stores. I bought the Maybelline Dream Lumi concealer for $4 less at HEB grocery store here in San Antonio. I still like Walgreens, but sheesh! 🙂

    Oh and now I kind of feel bad that I have dark blue contacts since you say that this Oxblood look is great for green eyes. My natural real eye color is medium green. Guess I best be getting clear contacts next time I buy them! I think this Black Cherry lipstick color will be pretty with my fair skin and light blonde hair. 🙂
