I love her so much I gave her a nick name. (my sister and I do this often with celebs, it’s lame but…we’re kinda lame sometimes.)
Her songs speak to my soul.
She’s exquisite.
plus, I dig that she spices it up so I never get bored of looking at her.
Hopefully you guys don’t either…
big hair. don’t care.
dark eyes, yes.
so red.
vamp alert.
I need a hat.
…and a convertible.
natural-ish.
hippy rocker. I’m feeling this one today I think.
Hope you guys are having a bright and joyous Christmas Season so far! Talk to you soon~

December 12, 2012 at 8:10 amSo I just stumbled across your blog a few days ago and after going through it, realized I’ve pinned some of your posts before. THEN today you post about Taylor Swift, who I totally want to have as my BFF (I’ve been a fan since 2007!)….you’re pretty much my favorite beauty person now. 😉

December 12, 2012 at 8:22 pmI totally agree! I happened to find your blog a couple days ago and have been looking at it any chance I can get. I’m also studying for finals right now so to ease test anxiety I’ve been watching T. Swift concerts on DVD and then today you did this post! So funny! This blog is great Cara! I’m a busy med student and this gives real life applications of hair and makeup. Can’t wait to try out the HAC! I’ve already put some items on my Christmas wish list from your basic kit!

December 12, 2012 at 9:25 amCara! I’m diggin’ the hippie rocker look, too. Do you think you could do a tutorial on that one? If you could do it for both hair and makeup, that’d be great. Thanks for the inspiration!

December 12, 2012 at 12:27 pmHey Cara!
I just want to say thank you for all that you do! I have always love, loved makeup.. but you make it so much more fun! I have gotten so much from the contouring!
The main thing I want to thank you for is the help with lips. I am just a normal white girl, with normal white girl lips. And thanks to you, and your recommendation for the Covergirl pencil in Mink, I have fallen IN LOVE with my lips. It has made such a huge difference in my life. Just because I love my lips! I cannot believe it!
I have had a really hard year, the hardest in my life. Watching your videos, and getting dolled up according to your tips has made this terrible time so, so much better. You should know that you really make a difference, and help people in ways that you probably don’t expect. It is amazing what a difference leaving the house cute and confident makes to a person who is grieving. Please take some time to relax, and do something for your yourself this holiday season. You deserve it!

December 12, 2012 at 1:26 pmHi Cara, the Victoria’s Secret post got a lot of traction on pinterest among my circle of friends. I love the before and afters on your blog. Since I’ve found your site, I have been busy reading all the previous posts. You are a total gem, thank you for the inspiration!
My ask: will you post more color selections and before/afters for blondes? Also, the links to amazon are great, maybe you could also publish a wish on Amazon of all your favorite products (one for brunettes and one for blondes would be awesome!)
Thank You! I can’t wait to share your website with all of my friends!
Cara
December 13, 2012 at 3:37 pmThanks Chelsea. YES! I didn’t even know you could do that on Amazon so that’s a wonderful idea!
More blonde stuff. Easy cause I love blondes!

December 13, 2012 at 3:51 pmI just wanted to say that I absolutely LOVE your blog! I could spend hours on your website alone 🙂 I didn’t really know where to post this question so I just picked here.
My question is, WHat is your opinion on “high pigment makeup”? My mother’s friend suggested it for a dramatic look for eyes, but how would you use it without looking tacky? TIA
Samantha
December 13, 2012 at 5:58 pmYes, please do a tutorial on the hippie rocker!
I’ve done 3 of your looks in the past week and feel so much more put together! As a mid 30’s homeschool mom, scout leader, and kids yoga teacher, I don’t often get to dress/look/feel pretty. Its nice! Would LOVE if you could do a tutorial or tips on helping to somewhat mask genetic undereye bags that depuffing products won’t touch.

December 16, 2012 at 12:03 pmHer glam squad does a great job of giving her different looks. It’s really tricky with a hooded eye to not make every look seem the same.

December 21, 2012 at 8:15 amNot a big fan of T Swift, mostly because she always seems to be curly with bright red lips all the time, but her “Natural-ish” photo is amazing!! I wish she’d go more natural once in a while instead of the red all the time. We get it, you can pull off red. But not a whole lot can pull off natural gorgeous!
p.s. I am the queen of nicknames… i even do it at work in my notes 🙂

December 25, 2012 at 10:35 pmI literally have dreams that I have Taylor’s unbelievable hair. Those curls are amazing, and I am so jealous! I’ve actually had a ton of people tell me that my 4 year old daughter looks just like Taylor- lucky little brat! Love your blog Cara!!

December 28, 2012 at 6:56 amAny idea when the hippie rocker tutorial will be out? I LOVE your tips. I do the everyday contouring EVERY DAY now, and I think I look TONS better! You are the only person that has been able to teach me how to use makeup in the past 37 years!!! Also, dying to see some different silver eyeliner techniques. Happy new year! xoxo

December 28, 2012 at 9:28 amlove when she wears her hair straight with bangs!

February 19, 2014 at 5:42 pmI have never been a fan of Taylor Swift, but I do like some of her looks. She looks great with bangs! She has pretty hair. She is so flipping tall, too. I wish I was a little taller. I am 5’4 and I am fine with it, but if I could be taller I would like to be 5’6. 🙂
Samsung Galaxy E5 Price
August 16, 2015 at 1:36 pmSo even though it most definitely is the very best
for some, it is not the ideal for every person.
The Samsung Tab is capable of giving tough competition to ipad and iphone.
The loudspeaker continues the same story, with the only complaint being its rather low
volume output.
