Angelina Jolie Look Using ALL Drugstore Makeup!

I am totally diggin’ Angelina Jolie’s Makeup in this photo. Its pretty, fresh looking and such a universal look that would look lovely on just about anyone!

Here is my very best recreation… in which I blatantly lie about my eye color.
(My mom took this of me standing in front of a bath towel and if you saw the way she looks at my camera like it’s from an alien planet you would be pretty impressed that we got a photo at all!)

The BEST part of this look is that every ounce of makeup you see on my face I bought at Wal-Mart for about $50 bucks.

The WORST part of this look is all of those pesky paparazzi that will be after you since they think you are Angelina Jolie. So annoying.

Hope you love it!

I also wanted to thank EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU who commented on my last post!
I don’t think you know how much your words meant to me and how grateful I am to have such good friends in my corner!

  1. I absolutely love your blog, woman! This is my first comment but might not be the last. Sometimes I watch a tutorial right before doing my makeup, so I do my best to match your color choices with what I have. Would you be able to show product colors, especially for eyes, closer to your camera/for a couple seconds longer? Also, I am absolutely smitten with your cover girl eyebrow for lip liner. Not only do i use it on my lips but as a blonde I use it for a daytime eyeliner all the time!

  2. Cara,
I love your website and your tutorials! I read them all the time, and I don’t even really wear make-up…That’s how good you are! (: Thumbs down to the others! Glad you’re staying true to yourself! You’re really talented and gorgeous!

  3. Amazing!!! You go girl! I support you in anything you do online. You speak to everyday girl who uses all types of makeup from drug store to expensive make up which i pay for $30. Make is up is make up. How one’s puts the make up on a beautiful face can make a picture into a million dollars. Good blog!!!

  4. So glad you’re still blogging. We missed you! Also your vulnerabilty did not go unnoticed. Thank you allowing us to share in the moment. As I read your post I kept hearing the notion that crisis can hold danger as well as opportunity.
    Be well :)

  5. so glad you did this look :) When I received this magazine in the mail awhile ago I secretly hoped you would do a tutorial on it, due to the fact that “ang” looks simply gorgeous in it!
    love it!

  6. I absolutely love your tutorials and tips! I have acne scars and the only foundation that I’ve used that hides them pretty well is Bare Minerals, but it can get to be expensive over time. Do you know of any foundations that have good coverage for that? Thanks so much, your videos really inspire me to play around with makeup more!!

  7. Awesome and creative ‘ Ange’ look Cara!! Reminds me of how I used to do my make up in the 90’s I was obsessed with stretching the eye- liner out :)

You truly inspire me and ignite my childhood passion to be a make up artist again…
    Thank you xoxo

  18. Hello beautiful cara! I am extremely curious to know, if you dye your hair at home, what brand of black do you use? It is absolutely stunning. I am still trying to find the perfect shade of black. Thank you so much!!

  19. Cara, you look so much like Angelina Jolie in your copy cat it’s uncanny! Breath taking photo. Will you please do more copy cats? I would dearly love to see all the makeup looks in Britney Spears “Lucky” video, and also Mariah Carey’s makeup looks in her “Butterfly” and “Heart Breaker” videos. Also the makeup looks in “Love Fool” video by The Cardigans. Also please do some makeup looks of Marilyn Monroe! Pretty please with a cherry on top?! :-) And sprinkles!

  20. Oh oh oh oh oh! Will you please recreate “Bella’s” wedding makeup look from the “Breaking Dawn” part 1 movie? And Bella’s wedding hairstyle, too! Oh. My. Gosh. I would be SO THRILLED! Will you please do that, Cara dearest??? I know ALL of your blog followers would be thrilled and grateful as well. Oh pleeeeeeeaaaaaase you must do this for us, and for yourself, too! We would all love to see how beautiful you look in the recreation of Bella’s epic wedding day. And please do Alice’s look also, Alice is cool and gorgeous, too! Team Alice! Team Bella! What do you say? I am so excited that you may do this! Can’t wait!!! :-)

  21. Cara, I have a very serious question for you. What brand of contact lenses do you use? I am bored with Fresh Look. They took away a lot of their colors and only have 3 color choices now for light eyes. Boring! Will you please share what brand you use and where you get your color contacts from?? I need a change ASAP!! Thanks, Cara!! :-)

  22. I tried this today and got the best compliments. Obv I looked nothing like “Ange”, but I felt and looked great! The placement of the blush really made a big difference!

  23. Hi! Love this. I noticed there seems to be a CG pencil in the picture also but it is not on the list. Would you be so kind to share what color it is?
