Sometimes I wake up puffy, with under eye bags and a swollen nose (yeah, a swollen nose you might not notice but it happens) my skin is dull and gray and for lack of a better word I just look UG.
After a fair amount of trial and error I have found that I can fend off days like this most of the time using the following nuggets of wisdom.
1. They don’t call it beauty sleep for nothin’
Get your rest for a whole barrage of reasons. I hear it’s good for just about everything in your body which is probably why it shows up so quickly all over your face if you don’t. Heaven knows, there is no under eye concealer that works as good as 8 hours of rest!
2. Water makes you hotter.
Drink up, ladies. Think of it as a free facial every time you down a glass. I’m telling you, no threat of long term consequences trumps one you will see in the mirror the very next day in the form of a puffy face and lifeless skin. Not to mention that lack of H20 is probably the culprit of most our fat days as well…
