I am not a broken record. I just really love this self tanner. A lot.

Which is why I thought I should prove to you the power of a nice tan leg but more importantly the truth about my nice white legs.  (yeah I am wearing the little girl shorts again)
….I will admit that I may have gotten a little over zealous with my rub the other day when a Mexican woman assumed I, too hailed from Mexico…
Either way the fact that she thought that and not Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory  is a testament to my brown vs. orange  claims.

P.S. It doesn’t stink. What? It’s a gorgeous color AND bronzer AND no parabens AND it doesn’t stink? You kiddin me!?

Makeover Monday!

My best friend Shelly always complains that she hasn’t had a tan since she got pregnant with her first son Brady 5 years ago. She is a self tan skeptic so when I went to visit her last week I came prepared. After a nice dose of My favorite tanner and some makeup fun she went from this:

Do you get any more gorgeous than that? I submit that you do not.

A non-committal bang.

Every once in a while…like when I see photos like this

I have a “maybe I should cut some bangs” day. And so I probably would cut said bangs except for the ever present fear of the days that would all too soon follow.

Such as:

Greasy bang days, wind in my bang days, separated bang days, floofy bang days, overgrown bang days and “I just saw a really cute photo of myself WITHOUT bangs” days…which generally leads to “Trying to grow out my bangs” days.

Bottom line? I can’t commit. Cutting bangs scares the daylights outta me,  which is why I got myself what I like to call “The Non-Committal Bang”.

A.K.A The clip in bang. Get one at Sally Beauty (cause they are cheapest there) and here is the trick, bring them with you when you get a haircut and ask your stylist to (pretty please) cut them properly and to your liking. Then enjoy having a bang only when you want one:)
